SoundScape - FAQ

  • My device is not playing. What could be wrong ?

- Remove the plastic strip coming out next to the RS-232 connector to initialize RTC battery.
- Check the "Local Time (Timezone)" and "NTP Server" of your device. If the Time is not correct then your SoundScape device will not play. Check that the network is not blocking the NTP Service.
- Check the SoundScape - IT Network Requirements.
- Check that you have a Deployed Schedule for your SoundScape device and that it is active. For more details about the Schedules and the Schedule Deployments please check the chapters "Create SCHEDULES." and "Deploy a SCHEDULE" of the "Portal User Manual" at the SoundScape download area [1]
